The Vancouver Recital Society invites you on a very special outing to a large acreage in Maple Ridge. Westacres, home of the Maple Ridge Music Society, boasts a stunning concert / living room, where you will hear chamber music as it is meant to be heard. Enjoy riveting performances of Bela Bartók’s Six String Quartets. Between the morning and afternoon performances you will be served a lovely summer lunch with wine, compliments of Ganton and Larsen Prospect Winery. Join us on a luxury coach generously provided by Perimeter Coach Lines and enjoy a lecture on the quartets by David Gordon Duke, Dean of the Faculty of Languages, Literature and Performing Arts at Douglas College, or you may come by car on your own.

Please note that whilst the bus departure time from downtown is fixed at 10:00am. Other timings may vary slightly.
This is a special fundraising event for the Vancouver Recital Society. Tickets are $150 all inclusive. If you come on your own, tickets are $130. Space on the bus is limited to 56. Capacity of the concert room is 120.
